Architectural Forms

The covenants and by-laws of the Homeowners Association provide for the review and approval of changes to the exterior of homes in Tatton Place. These changes include landscaping.

The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) is made up of volunteers from within the community. The committee meets as needed to review applications and give their recommendation to the Board of Directors for final architectural approval. In many cases, the applications are approved as submitted or with minor changes. If an application is rejected, it is the policy of the Architectural Review Committee to work with the homeowner to reach a mutually agreeable solution.

Residents are encouraged to obtain approval of outdoor projects before starting. Failure to obtain prior approval may result in additional costs to the homeowner. Homeowners are reminded that it is their responsibility to determine if a building permit is required and to obtain any permits prior to starting a project.

For more informaton about the Architectural Review Committee, the Architectural Guidelines, or the approval process, or if you are interested in serving on the Committee, contact the ARC Chair Blaine Ballantyne.
